That is what we are asking as the guys cook using an all in 1 food steamer.
The one thing we learned is that the process of steaming food is slow and in a 1 hour show, we barely got the meal cooked before we ran out of time.
We tried to reproduce the beautiful food shown in the pictures on the manufactures website, but we clearly did not have the same luck.
The food was in fact wonderful and the steamer worked like a charm aside from the fact that once you set the time, you have to let it cook for the full time. There was no way to turn the dial backwards or remove the time.
The juice from the chicken and vegetables that Mr Dog poop prepared all dripped into the top collection tray and made a nice chicken soup and could have potentially been rendered down or made into gravy.
Was it convenient?
It was nice to have a separate appliance to steam food, especially for a large group or dinner party.
It can be set on a table or off in another section of your house or office or video studio and gives you extra cooking capacity for under $25.
Since it is a complete appliance, the clean up is a bit more difficult than having a steam on a regular pot on a stove. But depending on your needs, this was a good review and will get regular use in both the Dog Poop household and the Macolino residence.
The guys only burned themselves a few times and they got a meal out of it, so as far as podcast go, this one ended with any major problems.
So be careful before you crank it to 60 minutes unless you want to cook for 60 minutes.
