STEM Electric Piano - Assembly and Review Friday's episode of The Man Show Live featured a PLAYZ Piano made for kids. Our overall opinion of the PLAYZ Piano was that it was a bit simple for kids over 5 years old and maybe not dynamic enough for kids to learn about electronics. It was one of the more expensive toys during STEM week at around $35 which could have bought a little more education in other items. The white keys did play, but the black keys were only part of the case and decoration only, so as far as a piano, it missed the mark and is not a good learning tool for music. It can be a fun toy for a 3 year old, but at that age, the chance of them wiring it up is slim. We could not really find any good points about the PLAYZ ...read more
Pocket Sandwich Maker Review In Monday's episode the guys were on fire, well not on fire more like burned all over by the pocket sandwich maker. It is just plug in and go with no on off switch or temperature control. So be ready when you plug it in, it gets hot very fast. Does it make sandwiches? It sure does and many were approved by Fat Chris who appeared on camera long enough to take bites out of the very hot sandwiches and scurry back to his desk to finish eating them. The guys tried traditional grilled cheese with limited success but also got creative with pizza pockets, chili dog pockets, hand and Swiss, roast beef and provolone and a few mixes including trying to cook an egg that ended up mostly on the table. Overall the appliance we OK and that is just OK. The sandwiches mostly ...read more
$17 Personal Frying Pan - Is it big enough for a man size meal? Personal Frying Pan - Is it big enough for a REAL MAN? Our first impression was that it was small. But that may be the best part, portable, does not take up much space and in the end, it did cook a man size portion. One man at least. The cons were, too shallow, no temperature control and that the handle needed to be assembled from 3 parts which is something some men wont be able to do. Mr Dog Poop cooks sausage chili made with Italian sausage, onions, peppers, garlic, tomatoes and kidney beans. It is a struggle to get all the ingredients into the shallow pan but in the end, keeping in a heaping pile did work. Once that finished, he attempted a Philly cheese steak with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. Jeff cooks ...read more
Episode #1We finally did it, we completed one full episode. We beat the critics that said it was impossible for an old dog poop guy and his drunk friend to figure out how to stream a live show on the internet. Our first episode was about "Reviewing of a Zombie Survival Tool Kit". The kits are abundant online from mid $20's to around $50 depending on which tools are packed into the individual kit. We unpacked and tested each item to see how helpful each tool would be in a survival situation with some very nice and some completely useless. The truth is, you could never know what you might need if you run out of gas in the middle of nowhere or fall out of a plane in the Australian outback, but if you do and you have the kit with you, it could help you survive. The ...read more
